Not all journeys are straight forward… in fact some of the best journeys are off the main track, taking in the scenery along the way. Some may be dead ends but if you didn’t adventure down them in the first place you never would have found the gem at the end of them. I guess life is a little like that - it’s not at all straight forward and you may change the path you take several times but had you not have deviated and tried a new route you’d never know what the path holds for you or the experience & knowledge you would gain. This seemed quite a fitting post for Mental Health Awareness week. A gentle reminder to us all that we all have a lot to deal with during our lifetime and sometimes it just gets a little too much. Don’t be too quick to judge others, on what others have said or what you see. There is always so much more going on behind these little squares. Be kind. ❤️ 📍Holt Country Park - is set in 100 acres of mixed woodland and is home to a large variety of butterflies. There are trails (which can get muddy), sculptures, play area, undercover picnic area, sensory garden, toilets, visitor centre and tearoom. There is a small car parking charge of £2.30, allowing you to park all day. Event days are organised throughout the year. Makes for a great day out for the whole family.
